Application and Registration for June 2022
NOTE: THERE WILL BE TWO SEPARATE EVENTS - JUNE LIVE IN NYC AND VIA ZOOM CONFERENCING ONLINE.
BOTH EVENTS ARE FOUR DAYS WITH PRE-EVENT AND POST-EVENT COURSES AND PROGRAMS.
Registration can be accomplished following successful application to the conference. Utilize this application page for the upcoming June 2 - 5 online Zoom event or the June 16 - 19 live event in New York. Following registration, writers will receive access to pre-event development and marketing forums as well as to the Algonkian Novel Writing Program. We believe that a manuscript can't be "too perfect" prior to pitching.
Live or Zoom, the registration fee for either event is $795.00. This fee covers all conference pitch sessions, workshops, materials, studio usage, pre-event assignments, online forum registration, and faculty consults. There is no other fee pertaining to the conference or pre-conference. If you need to register in increments, please use the two-part registration form for all conferences.
We wish to make it clear that if you choose one event over the other now, you can always change your mind and switch events prior to closing.
Registration Notes
Due to the relatively small size of our conferences held quarterly, and the large amount of applications we receive each week, a tight inventory going forward must be maintained, therefore, we ask that successfully accepted writers register for the conference within three business days after receiving acceptance. However, if not possible, we ask that said writers get back promptly and inform us if they wish to postpone registration for whatever reason, thus allowing a conference reservation to be maintained.

NYC REFUND POLICY: Full refund up to 30 days before event; however, no refunds will be issued after an event has closed, even if closing takes place more than 30 days prior to the date of said event. Credit will be given towards future events.
Expenses you incur for this writer conference are all tax deductible. |

It began with "The Fiction Class" by Susan Breen. Going into 2022, the New York Pitch has assisted and networked writers into dozens of agent and commercial publishing contracts. More information and commentary on this subject can be found on our NYC news page.
THE NEW YORK PITCH CONFERENCE IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH IMITATOR PITCH EVENTS FOUND ON GOOGLE. WE RECOMMEND WRITERS EXERCISE CARE AND HEALTHY SKEPTICISM WHEN MAKING A CHOICE FOR WRITER EVENTS.
